Our children should be prettier than all the children in the city, we get the biggest job in the country and when we step into the business it grows fast and people know our name, our form but Dr. Sahib was a different person. He wanted to live an “average” life, he didn’t want to top any exams, he used to read all his classmates at night, he used to memorize, he used to have relationships with teachers to get marks. Dr. Sahib used to study for only two or three hours at that time.

He used to sleep at night even on exam days and he said that he could not sacrifice his sleep just to get high marks, he used to sleep long and his dervishes were indifferent and helpless. stupidity but Dr. Sahib was happy, he did MBBS with average marks in this world, he became a doctor, after becoming a doctor, all his colleagues, all class fellows won in specialization but Dr. Sahib refused to read any more, he was recruited as a physician in a small hospital and started living on government salary, his colleagues barely had lunch after returning from the hospital.

In the afternoon he would go into private practice and make notes till late at night but the doctor would come back from the hospital and rest, jog in the evening, watch TV, read books, listen to music, He used to meet friends and if any patient came during this time, he would treat him for free. He did not even think of increasing his income these days. He was living happily on his salary. He had a small house, no AC in the house, he had a small fridge and he traveled on a motorbike, he considered these facilities enough for himself, he did not see life beyond these things. ۔

Meanwhile, the time came for Dr. Sahib’s marriage. Dr. Sahib also adopted “moderation” in this matter, when all his colleagues, all his friends, and all his classmates were the best, the most beautiful girl and all. Dr. Sahib was in the circle of a good family. At that time, Dr. Sahib chose an ordinary girl of reasonable appearance and married her. The couple became happy in this small house and later children were born. Sahib did not run after big schools and higher education for these children either, he enrolled the children in ordinary educational institutions because they did not practice privately so they had a good time in the evening.

So they would teach the children themselves, their children were not very intelligent either, they passed in the middle grades and Dr. Sahib never encouraged his children to the top or get the first position, it was just for them to pass and Dr. Sahib’s children were also happy with this approach because they came back from school to eat, rest, play in the evenings, read a little, watch TV and We used to walk with the doctor before going to bed and that’s it. Those kids were different from the top race, so they also had a lot of excuses to be happy and satisfied, but you would never understand that this story would go that way. There was a very interesting turn in this story.

Dr. Sahib thought one day he should go abroad, at that time his colleagues, his friends were going to big countries, someone was queuing in front of the US embassy, someone was planning to go to the UK Someone had applied for immigration to Canada and Australia, but Dr. Sahib then chose a country where no Pakistani doctor would like to go. Dr. Sahib moved to the Maldives with his entire family, got a job in a small hospital in the Maldives, and moved to the Maldives with his family.

There, too, they took bicycles to the whole family, and the whole family began to admire the natural beauty of the Maldives. The children went to school like middle-class students, Begum bought vegetables, fruits, and grains from the market, and the whole family went to Syria. Walking, laughing, and enjoying life to the fullest, these people celebrated the weekend and had a lot of fun, life was a beautiful blessing for them and they spent their days in the Maldives to the fullest. Then came another turning point in Dr. Sahib’s life. He read in a newspaper one day that a physician was needed in a remote part of Australia.

The Australian Government needs a doctor for this position who is merely a doctor and does not have any specialization. It was an unfamiliar place in Australia so no one went there but Dr. Sahib was not a crowded person, he was a moderate living in the middle who never tried to join the race to come first. So he applied for the job, he was the first foreign doctor in the area, the people of the area and the local administration were impressed with his talent and they made him in charge of hospitals in the whole area, this is a five-figure salary. The government also gave them 2,000 acres of land.

He built a farm on this land, this farm proved to be a gold mine for him and in a few years he became the richest man in the area and today he owns the most expensive car in the world, he owns a helicopter. They have an acre house and they have waterfalls and rivers and they have a bank balance but they are still living an average life. They rest in the afternoon, in the afternoon. Time jogging with the kids, watching TV in the evenings, reading books, listening to music, chatting with friends, and spending the mornings and evenings without pills and today all those classmates, all those classmates Happiness, contentment, health, wealth, success, and prosperity are far behind them, who used to wake up at night and cry.

Those who had red eyes in the race to come first, those who worked eighteen hours a day for big refrigerators, big cars, big houses, big bank balances and wow wow, who went to the hospital, did clinics in the evening and He used to earn money from medicine and who started his part-time job as well as a medical profession but “at the end of the day” this doctor of ours also surpassed him in worldly affairs. The wives for whom he had united the heavens and the earth became sick, old, and ugly, but his wife remained average even as she grew old, the children of his companions for whose education he had made great strides. They all left their parents after completing their education but Dr. Sahib’s average children are still with them today so Dr. Sahib’s past was full of happiness, present, and future too.

We have a path other than the top race, the path of moderation, the path of average life, and the middle path and this is the path in which there is happiness but we make our lives miserable by running in the top race. Let’s say, we poison our past, our present, and our future and in the end, we suddenly feel that we have nothing in this race for the top, we have nothing but life from the balance sheet. Could not earn I wish we would think like Dr. Sahib, let us prioritize happiness overwork, let us choose the middle way.
